THE MOST BEAUTIFUL TORONTO BOOKS FESTIVAL POSTERS
Poster Design
OCT 2023
SELF-INITIATED school project
This was the first project in a series of project in which we had to design the identity for an existing or made-up festival of our choice. In this project, we had to design 3 poster directions (abstract, symbolic, representational) to then pick one direction and extend the design to an entire identity system.

SELF-INITIATED school project
The Most Beautiful Toronto Books Festival (a rip off of The Most Beautiful Swiss Books Awards) is a made up book festival that occurs in Toronto every February.  The idea was to represent book production through graphical signs that is used through out the process including the crop marks, registration, grids, and the CMYK system. The first 3 brochures correspond to the 3 days of the festival while the final brochure is a catalogue for books that had won the award this festival hosts. All 4 can be opened up into posters with the corresponding colours of the exhibition.Images and texts are taken from the Most Beautiful Swiss Books Awards.

4THERECORD PAPERS
EDITORIAL design
JUNE 2023
4THERECORD
4theRecord Papers is an editorial/newspaper created in June 2023 as part of the 4theRecord exhibition compiling research into queer lives during the pandemic. The editorial encompasses the exhibition’s information, excerpt from the researchers’ papers, talks, as well as pictures of the team, and process involved. It also includes a brief section using interviews conducted by the team into trans lives in the pandemic.

The editorial is folded like a newspaper with unbound leaves. This way, you can take apart the cover and hang it up like a poster. The name is in reference to the loose papers of the editorial and the research papers included.
